Working in an elevator shaft demands absolute precision, reliability, and strict safety measures. Spaces are tight, and the risks of working at height are significant. Custers Hydraulica B.V. developed the Custers® elevator shaft scaffolding specifically for this demanding environment. This high-grade aluminium scaffolding is specifically intended to provide safe access to workspaces in elevator shafts.

Made for the elevator shaft

Unlike regular mobile scaffolding, the Custers elevator shaft scaffolding is exclusively designed to be assembled and used inside an elevator shaft. The unique stability of the scaffolding is achieved because the structure is, as it were, "enclosed" by the walls of the elevator shaft. Due to this special design, the scaffolding must therefore never be used free-standing (outside the elevator shaft).

Maximum safety and load capacity

Safety comes first at Custers. The elevator shaft scaffolding falls into scaffold class 3, which means the working floor can handle an impressive maximum load of 200 kg/m². The working floor is standardly equipped with complete fall protection, consisting of a handrail, knee rail, and toe boards all around.
