Railing systems

Both the Handy and CR series are equipped with Mobile or Safe Guard railing systems for immediate safety, ensuring you can always work securely regardless of the circumstances. Both railing systems comply with the EN 1004:2020-1 standard; this means that when accessing each new scaffold level, the user must always be surrounded by guardrails.

Mobile Guard railing system

The rolling tower with the Mobile Guard railing system is designed for maximum safety and clear visibility during assembly.

  • Fully closed platforms: Every two meters, the platform is completely closed, ensuring no open spaces during assembly.

  • Flexibility: The familiar bracing pattern remains intact, allowing the tower to be easily adapted to the work situation, for example, around protruding façade elements.

  • Temporary guardrail: During assembly, the Mobile Guard moves up to the highest level and serves as a temporary guardrail.

  • Final fixation: At the highest level, the Mobile Guard can be secured as a hip guardrail instead of the standard horizontal braces.

Advantage: Ideal for users who want a safe, clear assembly without compromising flexibility.

Safe Guard railing system

The rolling tower with the Safe Guard railing system uses a special guardrail frame consisting of two separate parts for easier handling.

  • Replaces multiple components: The frame takes over the function of the toe board, knee rail, and a vertical brace.

  • Fewer platforms required: This system makes it possible to achieve the desired working height within a wide tower using fewer platforms.

  • Variable application: Depending on the configuration (freestanding or close to the façade up to 15 cm), more or fewer guardrail frames are used.

Advantage: Efficient for wide towers and situations where fewer platforms are desired.

In short

  • Mobile Guard railing: Focus on maximum safety during assembly, with fully closed platforms and flexibility in the bracing pattern.

  • Safe Guard railing: Efficiency and fewer components, ideal for wide towers and variable configurations.
